Together

The churches in Woodbridge and Melton work together to serve our community in many ways.

We hold joint services both in our churches and in the open air, being asked by the Town Council and others to take a lead in public events.

Initiatives we have introduced include Woodbridge Town Pastors, Healing on the Streets, Open the Book assemblies in the schools, Credit Union, Food Parcels, Lent Lunches and collecting for Christian Aid.

Please read more about us in these pages.

Good Friday 2022

GOOD FRIDAY WALK

Good Friday 2022 was on 15th April. There was a Walk of Witness around Woodbridge which began in Elmhurst Park. The walk took us through the Thoroughfare, up Church Street to Market Hill, down New Street and St John's Street and back to Elmhurst Park. At each church we paused and reflected on part of the Easter Story.

GOOD FRIDAY OPEN AIR SERVICE

Following the walk, at 11.00am we held an Open Air Service in Elmhurst Park by the bandstand with a live band. Members of the churches led us in an act of worship and remembrance of the first Good Friday.

Corona Virus Update

During the Corona-virus pandemic Churches Together showed an active presence in Woodbridge and Melton in many ways. Although the churches were, in the most part, closed, we know the church is really the people and not the building. Christians in Woodbridge and Melton are regularly praying for our town, serving in practical ways, loving our neighbours as Jesus taught us to do.

If you or someone you know has a need please get in touch with any of the contacts on this website. We would love to help practically or prayerfully.
